Woot sucks, I know…
John Anderson | April 28, 2008I want to apologize to all (according to metrics including compete.com, there are around 800 of you) my readers. I’ve pitched Woot.com far too much. My official recommendation now is “avoid at all costs.” I have sent this message, and I will be sure to share their response here.
How do I cancel my account? After your delightful response to my comics e-mail, I’d rather not do business with you any longer. I have already cancelled my PayPal agreement, but I want to completely close my account so there are no more ties.
Given their attitudes towards previous customer service issues, I expect to hear nothing from them at best, and some kind of insult at worst. That being said, please stay tuned for said insult.
